Tried the 大炒 at Gurney drive (Song River??) during breakfast time. Nobody recommend there, but we saw many people eating there, so drop by to check it out..Quite nice the noodle..

一年一度的冬至节

冬至到了!!

大家都在忙着搓汤圆。。在那么有意义的日子里，当然要和家人热热闹闹一起搓汤圆吧。 今年特地提早回家帮妈妈， 可是并不是一家人， 老爸和姐姐都在忙， 只有我和妹妹。。当然， 也不会少了我的 "photographer"。。。

我不懂冬至的由来， 只知道吃了汤圆就老一岁。

冬至是.......

“冬至，是华人农历中一个非常重要的节气，也是一个传统节日，至今仍有不少地方有过冬至节的习俗。冬至俗称“冬节”、“长至节”、“亚岁”等。早在二千五百多年前的春秋时代，华人已经用土圭观测太阳测定出冬至来了，它是二十四节气中最早制订出的一个。时间在每年的阳历12月22日或者23日之间。
冬至是北半球全年中白天最短、黑夜最长的一天，过了冬至，白天就会一天天变长。古人对冬至的说法是：阴极之至，阳气始生，日南至，日短之至，日影长之至，故曰“冬至”。冬至过后，各地气候都进入一个最寒冷的阶段，也就是人们常说的“进九”，我国民间有“冷在三九，热在三伏”的说法。
现代天文科学测定，冬至日太阳直射南回归线，阳光对北半球最倾斜，北半球白天最短，黑夜最长，这天之后，太阳又逐渐北移。
在中国古代对冬至很重视，冬至被当作一个较大节日，曾有“冬至大如年”的说法，而且有庆贺冬至的习俗。《汉书》中说：“冬至阳气起，君道长，故贺。”人们认为：过了冬至，白昼一天比一天长，阳气回升，是一个节气循环的开始，也是一个吉日，应该庆贺....”

Addicted to Facebook's "Guess the Sketch" game recently...

It is a game of drawing and guessing. Guess what other people are drawing and win the match. I like the game because I can find out how good is my vocabulary and drawing skills....And....it is very interesting to see how people draw out the meaning of the words.

But, sometimes the drawing is so "creative" and makes me laugh till I burst.

Can you tell the answer for this is "Paris"?? I didn't know Eiffel Tower looks like this...But I still get it right finally because the "drawer" cheating by giving the words hint.

I can't draw well also, but really love this game...

LeeLee, the Lady of the Night

Attended LeeLee's wedding last weekend, the first one who get married among the few good friends of mine. Happy for her and wish her and her hubby will have a very beautiful life ahead.

And also a good chance to get everybody meet together for the celebration. Love them so much. Hope the next one coming faster, then we can meet again since everybody is busying with work and hubby!! Ngek ngek...

I bought this Taste-Me 辣使你 Chilli sauce for the steamboat in Cameron highlands. So excited to try it. And finally.....

My Multiply Have BUG!!!

I need to delete my http://kathypy.multiply.com multiply account due to lots of bugs found in my old multiply account.

The photos page is showing wrong images when try to preview the images by clicking on the thumbnail. I am getting disappointed because I didn't get any reply after so long I sent a request to multiply customer service to fix the issue that I am facing.

So.....this is my new account, everything is still the same as previous except all the comments posted by others are gone. sob* sob*.

Also my contacts are empty, so I need to re-add all my friends to my new account.
