Today is my first day work in new office....say bye bye to my old cubicle..

Hubby bought me the Japanese Lucky Cat called "Maneki Neko" to put in my new cubicle.

Japanese lucky cat, can be found in most of the shops or restaurants, it is believed will beckon in new customers.

I just realized the variations of the colors and poses of lucky cat actually carry different meanings.

我想，有这只招财猫助阵，我应该会招福，步步高升，有福相伴，如意吉祥，好运连连，愿望实现，健健康康。。托他的福。。。嘻嘻！

黑色 - 避邪消灾

蓝色 - 事业兴旺

饿从“一”本来的!!

我有一个小白；不过不是那个小白。

他和朋友去踢球时，传了个简讯给我，说买了个小礼物给我，叫我去寻宝。。

我以为小礼物就是很小个儿的，挖遍房间的各个角落都找不到，最后终于在隔壁房找到了。。

一个很日式的便当包裹。。打开打开再打开，看到了它。一个我从来没有见过却听说过的东西。。。。Ahhhhhh, 拍立得!!

最后，我才搞清楚这个blog title的意思。。“我从日本来的!!”

拍立得是一种随拍随见的相机，它最奥妙的地方在于它即时显影的底片，而拍出来的照片也是仅此一张。按下快门时，就会听到相机吐出底片那个怀念的声音，而底片的处理速度是慢慢的，至少要三五分钟才完全显影。如果要加快显影的速度，可以把握在手上的底片来回摇晃，看他慢慢成形。

拍立得，它让“等待”充满趣味与期待，它这么的独一无二，不可复制。。喜欢它！

我叫它小白，因为它是纯白色的，是Fujifilm十周年纪念版推出的Mini7S。。

一份很意外的礼物。。而那块便当包裹的布是大有来头的，要拿来做拍立得的袋。。

The Beginner of DSLR

Started to play around with the brand new Canon 450d DSLR from hubby. Thanks for investing this new hobby and I know he likes it very much too. He feels glad whenever I am willing to spend time learning new things.

Has been very hardworking during the weekend to drive around and see which place is suitable for our first time shooting with the new DSLR. Hubby let me try out the new toy and he shoot with the S3IS semipro so that we can compare the different quality of photos between the two machines.

First time facing the difficulty to capture a proper photo with the manual setting. Wrong settings make the quality even worse than auto mode. And photography is not just taking photo with the correct mode, but also depends on angle of shooting, which I am still weak in this. Still a lot to learn , will spend more time attending photography sharing classes. We are so excited to explore this new hobby......

Start My BLOG with a Diamond Ring

A surprised proposal from him....

I started my first blog with my proposal ring....

I hope to get a surprise and unique proposal from him, without asking when, where or how. Everybody keep asking how if he propose after 3...5...7 years, or never if we didn't discuss about the marriage. And finally, the day has come.

Him, with the ring....in GoldHeart Jewelry, and down on one knee.....That's the time when I know I am going to be Mrs. Fong.
